1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing the Margilo AI website, viewing the product demo, booking a discussion, or using any information made available through the website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to engage with Margilo AI on that company’s behalf.
2. Website and demo purpose
The website and demo are provided for informational, evaluation and product-discussion purposes. The demo may use representative data, simulated workflows and illustrative recommendations. It does not represent a live customer account unless expressly stated.
3. Product description
Margilo AI is intended to help ecommerce brands with revenue and margin goal planning, SKU-channel diagnosis, recommendation generation, manual action tracking and before/after impact review. Product functionality, design, integrations and workflows may change over time.
4. No guaranteed business outcome
Margilo AI provides analysis, recommendations and decision support. Ecommerce outcomes depend on data accuracy, market conditions, pricing, inventory, execution quality, customer behaviour, platform policy, ad performance, seasonality and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee revenue growth, margin improvement, profitability, lower CAC, reduced returns or any specific business result.
5. Human review and approval
Recommendations are intended for review by founders, ecommerce managers, category managers, growth teams, finance teams or other authorised business users. Users are responsible for deciding whether to apply a recommendation. Margilo AI does not automatically execute price, ad, inventory, discount, listing or marketplace changes unless expressly agreed in writing.
6. User responsibilities
- Provide accurate business context, channel data and constraints where required.
- Ensure that you have the right and authority to share any data provided to Margilo AI.
- Do not share unnecessary customer personal data, credentials, passwords, payment data or bank access.
- Review all recommendations before applying them.
- Comply with marketplace rules, advertising policies, consumer protection requirements and applicable laws.
- Maintain backups or independent records of business data and actions taken.
7. Data accuracy and recommendation limitations
Recommendation quality depends on the completeness, freshness and accuracy of the data provided. Missing COGS, incorrect SKU mapping, incomplete return data, ad attribution gaps, channel fee changes or inventory mismatch can affect outputs. Margilo AI may flag missing data or low-confidence recommendations, but users remain responsible for verifying critical decisions.
8. Access, integrations and credentials
Any access to business systems, exports, APIs or third-party tools should be authorised by the relevant business. Users should not share marketplace passwords, bank credentials or unauthorised access. If integrations are added, access levels, permissions and data handling should be governed by the relevant commercial arrangement.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or attempt to disrupt the website, demo or product.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, malicious, infringing or unauthorised data.
- Do not use the website or demo to violate marketplace, advertising, privacy, intellectual property or consumer protection rules.
- Do not represent Margilo AI outputs as guaranteed financial, legal, tax or accounting advice.
10. Intellectual property
The Margilo AI name, website, demo, interface design, workflows, recommendation structure, copy, visuals and product materials are owned by Margilo AI or its creator unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, resell, reproduce, publish, distribute or create derivative products from these materials without permission.
11. Feedback
If you provide product feedback, suggestions or ideas, Margilo AI may use them to improve the product without obligation to compensate you, provided that confidential business data remains subject to applicable confidentiality commitments.
12. Confidentiality and commercial engagements
Commercial engagements, data sharing, confidentiality obligations, data deletion, permitted use of data, fees, service scope, support and deliverables may be governed by separate written terms, order forms, pilot agreements or NDAs. If separate written terms conflict with these Terms, the separate written terms will apply to that engagement.
13. Third-party services
The website or product may link to or rely on third-party services such as scheduling tools, hosting providers, analytics tools, AI services, ecommerce platforms, ad platforms or marketplaces. Margilo AI is not responsible for third-party websites, platform outages, policy changes, API limitations or actions taken inside third-party systems.
14. Availability and changes
The website, demo and product may be updated, modified, suspended or discontinued at any time. We may change features, design, workflows, integrations, availability or documentation as the product evolves.
15. No warranty
The website and demo are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and error-free operation.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Margilo AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or business-loss damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, ad spend loss, marketplace penalties or decisions made based on website or demo outputs.
17. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses or costs arising from your unauthorised data sharing, misuse of the website or demo, violation of third-party rights, breach of marketplace policies, or business actions you take based on your own review and approval of recommendations.
18. Governing law
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory local laws.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website or demo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
